With the Koofr Vault app for iOS, users can:

• Create new Safe Boxes for organized storage;
• Upload files or entire folders directly into Safe Boxes;
• Download stored files to their device or open them with compatible applications;
• Capture photos and save them directly into Safe Boxes;
• Utilize biometric authentication features for quick and secure access to Safe Boxes.

All file encryption and decryption occur locally on the user’s device at the moment of access, preserving privacy and data integrity throughout the process.

The security model relies on a Safe Key unique to each user, which is required to decrypt cloud-stored content. This key remains exclusively with the user; Koofr does not store or transmit it, nor does it retain any unencrypted file data or metadata.
